'To Create something New'

What exactly we mean by innovation? It is nothing but an idea which can result in dramatic changes. Innovation can be done at various levels be it process, product or services.

You dont need to be a genius to come up with an innovative idea, even the most dumbest considered people can come up with an idea, what differs is the smart people often able to realise that ideas but dumb people just let it go.

Often innovative ideas seems very absurd or may be very unthinkable in starting, but as they become practical, people start realizing that those ideas have really impacted the way they used to do something.

Companies like Google, Microsoft, GE, 3M and Apple are appreciated for their innovation. Its true also that these companies have really shown the world that Innovation does impact our day to day life to a great extent.

For eg, consider 3M's stickpad, before the stick pads were available common people used to remember all the things in mind and also in older times mobiles and other devices to set reminders were not there. Stickpad totally changed the way people used to remember things.
It was a very small innovation, but it really changed and infact helped the people all over the world.

Innovation is same as Creative Thinking, people continue following the existing system and thus forgets to think creatively. They get used to the normal process and their life becomes a disciplined routine. Innovation leads people to think from different aspect and this aspect really help them view the world differently. It can many a times changes the life of the people.

What really is required from a common man perspective is that they dont have to just get bounded by the system. I am not against the discipline and system, but I always think that Creativity do help a person enlighten his mind.

The rules of the work should be followed but in the spare time, the common man should do some research in whatever field he/she is interested in. be it music, sports, cloths etc. They should think how the existing system be it from processes followed in the domain, be it accesories used in the work or be it the way a game is played can be changed to make it better.

I know this will lead to lots of ideas and everyone will have different perception of how the things are done. but what really matters if they start sharing these thoughts with other people, there can be a time when his/her this thought might result in a change which itself can be considered an innovation.

So My Friends !! Start Thinking, Viewing Things from the perspective of making something better, and not just from the point of enjoying it.
